How Generatic Ltd handles information when you visit Genota or use an account. Updated 3 November 2026.
The essentials
A private workspace, with a purpose for every detail.
Generatic Ltd, company number 16628855, is responsible for Genota account and website data. The product currently contains a synthetic staff preview. Please do not upload patient records, NHS rota files or other sensitive work information until the relevant service is expressly enabled for your account.

01 / Information
What we collect.
Website visits
Our hosting and security providers process technical information such as IP address, browser details, request times and security events to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use an advertising profile for the Genota website.
Account and billing
If account registration opens, we will use your name, email address, chosen plan, sign-in and security events, and subscription status to create and protect your account. Stripe will handle payment details; Genota receives billing identifiers and payment status, not full card numbers. Resend will process addresses and message delivery information for verification and recovery email.
Workspace content
The current staff app is a synthetic preview and resets its in-browser workspace on reload. Live mailbox, calendar, rota import and shared record connections remain unavailable. Before those services accept real information, we will update this notice with the exact data, roles, retention periods and providers involved.
02 / Reasons
Why we use it.
We use account and billing information to provide a requested subscription and manage payments (contract), keep financial records where law requires (legal obligation), and protect the service, investigate misuse and improve reliability (legitimate interests). Where an optional service needs consent, we will ask for it separately and explain how to withdraw it.
We do not rely on this notice as permission to process patient data or other special category information. A service that needs such data requires a separate assessment and explanation before activation.
Who receives it
Authorised Generatic Ltd staff and the providers needed to run the service may handle the relevant information: Nexus hosting for the website and account system, Cloudflare for DNS and site protection, Stripe for payments, and Resend for transactional email. Each provider receives only what its role requires. Some may process information outside the UK; where this happens, we require an appropriate transfer safeguard.
03 / Control
Your choices and rights.
You may ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to some processing, or request a portable copy where the law applies. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We may need to retain some billing or security records where the law requires it.
We retain account information while the account is active and review it after closure. Billing records are kept for the period required by UK tax and company law; security logs are retained only as long as necessary for protection and investigation. We will publish more precise periods before live account registration opens.
Analytics cookies
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics measures visits to public Genota pages so we can understand which information is useful. It may set cookies such as _ga and process your browser and device information. We send the canonical page URL, without query parameters, and do not use Google advertising signals. Google may process information outside the UK under its applicable transfer safeguards. Analytics is optional: reject it in the cookie panel or change your choice at any time with Cookie settings. Rejecting analytics removes the Genota site's Google Analytics cookies. We do not load Google Analytics before you accept.
Essential cookies may keep your sign-in secure. We do not use marketing cookies on the public site.
